  Wanda Knox passed away peacefully on 31 October, 2019 at the age of 89 while residing at Smithville Western Care Facility.   She was born on 10 January, 1930 and raised by her grandparents, Herbert and Mary Ray.
    Wanda retired from the College of Wooster and had very fond memories of the students in the sororities where she worked.   She was also the head custodian in the Gault Administrative building, working the midnight shift.  Although she never learned to drive, she was a dedicated and responsible employee, walking to/from work in the rain and snow.
    Wanda is survived by: two sisters, Delores McCully and Patricia Lowery, three daughters, Judith Kay, Tammy Rae, and Melissa Sue, seven grandsons, Richard Alan, Franklyn Eric, Chester, Matthew Wayne, Kyle David, Brock Kenneth, and Troy Knox, two granddaughters, Heather Dawn and Kayla Anne, nine great grandsons, eight great granddaughters, and two great-great grandsons.
  Wanda ™s wish was to not have a viewing or service. Please remember to keep her and her family in your thoughts.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
