WOOSTER “ Monica Ann LaVine McCann, 48, of Wooster passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019 at her home.
She was born November 17, 1970 in Elyria, the daughter of Harold and Lisa Hall LaVine.
Monica was a homemaker who enjoyed painting ceramics and crossword puzzles. She enjoyed traveling and loved to shop and dine out. She loved her family very much and always spoke fondly of her nieces and nephews. She was an avid animal lover.
Surviving is her mother, Lisa (Jeff) Stewart of Virginia Beach, Virginia; grandfather,  Robert Hall; her sister and best friend, Melissa (George Kimble) LaVine of Seville and her brother Harold Jr. (Dawn) LaVine of Moyock, North Carolina and nieces and nephews, Eric (Hannah), Stefanie, Maddie, Kyle and  Jaxon and Steven (Dallis)  Weese LaVine and Hunter Raynor. a great niece Nora, and a great nephew Benton.  Many aunts, uncles and cousins  and her canine companion, Katie.
Monica will be greatly missed by her family.
She was preceded in death by her father, paternal grandparents, maternal grandmother and maternal uncle and her first true love baby girl.
 
Illness stole so much from her but it never took her beauty. She was a genuine beauty with a gorgeous smile and beautiful brown eyes. She was loved more than she could have ever imagined and her passing leaves a void to all who knew and loved her.  
There will be no calling hours or funeral services.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
The family would like to thank the great staff at Fresenius Dialysis Center of Wooster, the transportation department at Gilcrest. Also a special thank you to Caitlyn B. And Kelly M., we appreciate everything you have done for her and the guidance for the family.

  4. You used to always ask me if I was going to forget about you. Needless to say…you live on in my heart, my life…forever. You are remembered, treasured, honored…..and NOT forgotten. Rest in peace but with love always.
