Mariana (Feltner) Harris, formerly of Wooster Ohio, born 7/14/44 in Hazard Kentucky (Glomar Hollow), went home to be with the lord on 11/21/19.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Sydney (Wilkerson) Feltner, father, George Feltner, brother Mckinnly œToot Feltner, sister Ruby Combs, brother, Kenneth œKen Feltner, sister, Ruth Snyder, brother, Haskell œPeanut Feltner, brother, Kendall œBud Feltner, and son, Mark Douglas Hartmann.
She is survived by her sister, Anita Cassidy, sister, Naomi Parks, sister, Arlena œShanks Jefferson, and sister, Linda Bennett.   She is also survived by children, her son Michael Hartmann, his wife Renee, and children Michael and Bailey, her son James Hartmann, his wife Elise and daughter Jessica, her daughter Mary Hartmann, her partner Stephanie and son Elijah, her son John Hartmann, his wife Teri and daughter Tasha, and her son Joseph Hartmann, his wife Joyce, and children Connor, Lakaiia, Brian, Anastasha, and Kelton.
In the spirit of celebrating the wonderful life of the angel known as Mary (we call her Mom), her children, though proud of who we ™ve all become, regret the worry and sleepless nights we all caused her.   Though she would never admit to any sleepless nights or excessive worrying, she did the best she could.   Of course, she was conditioned to this by the many adventures she shared (endured ¦you pick) with her 10 siblings growing up in the œHoller of Kentucky.
Ordinary mothers raise good children. Mothers that raise Marines are extraordinary.   Mary raised 5 Marines.   She was one of a kind!   If honor, honesty, strength, endurance, understanding, and compassion were medals, Mariana Harris would be more decorated than any war hero that ever lived.
An amazing cook, baker, and seamstress.  All old school traits that she loved.   The world lost a good one!   We love and miss you!
Calling hours will be held Sunday November 24th, 2019 from 6pm to 8pm at McIntire, Bradham, & Sleek Funeral Home at 216 E. Larwill Street, Wooster, Ohio 44691.   The funeral service will be on Monday November 25th, 2019 at 1pm at the funeral home.

  1. Mary was a “God-send” to our family. (especially to me). Her love for my Mom went beyond anything or anyone could ever ask for. She certainly was an angel and a wonderful friend. I loved her deeply. She will always be remembered in my heart.
