John Grisetti passed away peacefully at LifeCare Hospice on December 2 surrounded by his loving family.
John was born to Italian immigrants John, Sr., and Columba Grisetti in 1929 in Wooster, Ohio. In 1955 he married Leila Mae Thomason and the two of them raised five children: Steven (Jeanne), Kathleen (Eric) Molnar, Annette (Patrick) McConkey, Rita (Wes) Smith and Victor. He was grandfather to seven and great-grandfather to 14 children.
For more than 40 years, John worked as a bricklayer. He also served for more than a decade as everyone’s favorite bartender at Lamplighters Social Club and even ran his own business, Lee’s Inn of Lakeville. He truly loved his family and will be missed very much.
Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Ave., Wooster with the Rev. Stephen Moran officiating.   Burial will follow in the St. Mary Cemetery.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers the family asked that any memorial contributions be made to Ohio ™s Hospice LifeCare, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691 or the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Dr., Sutie 900, Arlington, VA 22202.

  1. I remember Mr Grisetti as a boy and young man through the Catholic Church and our extended Italian family. He was a kind, friendly man. God bless him and his family.
