AKRON “ Vanessa A. Haycook, 48, of Akron passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Akron City Hospital.
She was born March 14, 1971 in Wooster, the daughter of Ronald and Dona Debo Haycook.  
She was a 1990 graduate of Wooster High School and had worked at McDonald ™s on Beall Ave. in Wooster for many years and had previously worked at Hardees.
Surviving are her mother, Dona Haycook of Wooster; siblings, Rodney Haycook, Gail (Charles) Hilty and Michael Haycook all of Wooster and her boyfriend, Michael Vargo of Akron.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother Jeffrey.
Friends will be received on Friday, December 27, 2019 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Nashville Cemetery with Pastor Dan Wingate officiating.
