APPLE CREEK “ Edward Lee Cummings, 65 of Apple Creek passed away on Monday, February 3, 2020 at Akron City Hospital.
He was born July 24, 1954 in Wadsworth the son of Harold and Norma Monbarren Cummings.   He married Laura Sharpton on December 17, 1999.   She survives.
Edward was an accountant and was the owner of Consolidated Business Services from 1995 to 2018.   He previously had worked as an accountant at Luk and had been a welder for Ingersoll-Rand in Orrville.   He was a member of and had served as the Administrator for 10 years of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1115 in Wooster.
He liked to golf and fish and he enjoyed Key West, Florida.   He also enjoyed grilling and gardening.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Laura, are his children Edward Jr. (Heather) Cummings of Orrville and Sherry Harris of Apple Creek; grandchildren Zachery Brown, Edward Cummings III, Myles Brown, Isaac Brown, Makayla (Asa) Heilman and Bryce Cummings; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters Barbara (Charles J.) Brandon of Wooster and Pamela Graser of Florida.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Doug Cummings.
Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the 7:00 p.m. service on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Service, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating.
