WOOSTER “ Duane E. Moses, 84, of Wooster passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at West View Healthy Living.
He was born May 18, 1935 in Funk the son of Earl and Carrie Biery Moses.   He married his wife of 62 years, Jane C. Iannarelli, on May 24, 1958 and they were very devoted to one another.
He proudly served his country with the US Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam Wars from 1952-1972.
Following his retirement from the Air Force, he had been a crane operator at Wooster Iron and Metal retiring in 1997.   Duane was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.   Duane loved fishing, working on cars, airplanes and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.   He was very strong in his faith and one of the most inspiring events in Duanne’s life was when he chose conversion to the Catholic Faith.   A grateful thank you and appreciation for the fine example set forth by Father Stephen Moran and Father Rich Samide of St. Mary’s.   He was an honorable giving and unselfish and loving husband, father and grandfather.
Duane really enjoyed performing as a DJ on the radio during one of his tours in the Air Force.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children Jeanine (Dale) Ickes and Angela (Chad) Flickinger both of Wooster; grandchildren Hillary, Jared, Jason and Alex Ickes and Sawyer Flickinger and a sister Faye Tate of Medina.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother Wayne and sisters Betty, Wilma and Jean.

Your wonderfully long, and devoted marriage has inspired Rick, and me in many ways. Duane worked very hard to provide for you, and his family never wanting to take handouts from anyone…..his life was true hard work, and honesty!I will keep you all in my prayers, and heart….Rick, and I will truly miss Duane, and all his wonderful stories! His quick wit, and responses to life will always be remembered! God Bless, and keep you…I love you, Mary Ann
