Raymond B. Stryker, 66, of Wooster passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus after a courageous battle with ALS on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster.
He was born on March 23, 1954 in Wooster the son of Lawrence D. and Mildred M. Frazier Stryker.
On August 30 1975 he married Peggy Wall who survives.
Raymond was a retired Machinist for the Wooster Brush Company having served the company for 20 years.   He was a member of West Hill Baptist Church in Wooster and the Wooster Moose Lodge.   He loved classic cars, hit and miss gas engines, music and guitar, hunting, boating, model trains and Ohio State Football, but Raymond especially loved being called œPaw  by his grandchildren.
Along with his wife Peggy, Raymond is survived by his two sons; Chad (Morgan) Stryker of Wooster, and Ryan Stryker of Columbus. His grandchildren; Ryland and Hadley Stryker. Two brothers; Charles and Dennis Stryker both of Wooster. A sister in law Ina Stryker of Millersburg. Brother in law; Mike (Deb) Wall of Wooster. Special Friends; Chris and Denise Brown of Wooster. And his canine companions; Sophie and Sadie.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Bob Stryker and Maxine Hustead.
Due to the COVID 19 virus private family graveside services will be held. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.   Arrangements are under the direction of McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St. Wooster, Ohio 44691.

  12. My heart is heavy today to see that Ray has passed and our Moreland and Triway families are all mourning his passing. He is in a glorious place now free from pain and sorrow and visiting with the best of the best.   25. peggy,so sorry for your loss. I so wish I could’ve got to know Ray better then I did. But in the time I did get to know him, he was an amazing man, a good friend and I’ll always remember him. I pray for you and family. May he rest in peace.

  27. A Heart Felt Condolences to the Stryker Family. Returning home to Shreve ‘67 from the Navy was neighbor’s to the Stryker Family. Then over the year’s our children went to Franklin Grade School & Triway with Ray&Peg’s Children. Ray always with a quick smile when we met and proud of his family with the Stryker tradition would always lend a hand. From Janet and I of Florida our best to all.
