Violet Jean Tharp, 83, of Wooster died on Sunday, April 05, 2020 at Glendora Nursing Home.
She was born August 22, 1936 in Marshall, IL to James Elmer and Maggie Wilson Nickles.   On July 2, 1974, she married Marion W. Tharp.   He preceded her in death in 1990.
Violet had been a cashier at K-Mart in Wooster.
She is survived by her sons Chris Haberkorn of Reno, NV and Kenneth Mathews of Terra Haute, IN; granddaughter Tanessa Cather; great-grandchildren Bryonna, Jordyn and Candan Cather.
Along with her husband, Violet was preceded in death by her parents, children Steve Mathews and Patric Haberkorn; brothers James,  Hobert and Earnest  Nickles and a sister Mable Kibler.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
