WOOSTER “ Curly Dan Goodrich Jr., 65, of Wooster passed peacefully at his home surrounded by loved ones on Monday, April 20, 2020.
He was born January 2, 1955 in Wooster, the son of Howard D. Sr. and Bernedda Daugherty Goodrich.  
Upon his graduation from high school, he worked at Harold Cook before assuming ownership of the Goodrich 2nd generation family business, Curly ™s Body Shop, which he owned and operated for over 40 years.
Curly loved fishing, boating and gambling.   His unique sense of humor and love for life will be missed by his extended family and friends and his loving generosity and kindness will be missed by all.
Surviving are his children Howard D. III (Carrie) Goodrich, Heather (Rich) Arnold, II and Daniele Goodrich all of Wooster; his significant partner Robin Neuhauser of Wooster; his former spouse Katie Ruth Goodrich of Wooster; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandsons; siblings Marlene McBride of Florida, David W. (Carolyn) Goodrich of Apple Creek, Susan (Terry) Alkire of Shreve, Dwight (Brenda) Goodrich and Shelia (Jeff) Burckhart both of Wooster and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no calling hours and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

  5. You all have our sympathy and in our thoughts and prayers. He will be truly missed he always made me laugh when I stopped and always concerned how we were all doing. That was Curly for ya and when he would talk to me he would say how you doin darlin!!!! What a great guy.

  11. So sad to see that Danny died. He was a great guy, always happy to see us & talk to us. Although I (Bobbie) didn’t see him often it doesn’t seem real that He’s not around anymore. Our condolences to the entire Goodrich family. Love you.

  12. My sincere condolences to the entire family. I knew Curly most of my life, growing up as one of his neighbors on McCoy Road. My brother and I would ride our bikes down to see Howard and Heather at their home. And there you could always find Curly with a smile on his face. I will remember him as a jokester and funny man, with a big heart. What a true loss much too early. Please know you all are in my thoughts and prayers.

  14. I have known Dan since grade school at Wooster Twp. There was no better body man than Curly! Always a great sense of humor and big smile. Sad to lose such a positive person. May God continue to bless your family.
