Shirley A. Raymond 84, of Wooster passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at the Avenue at Wooster.
She was born September 19, 1935 in the family home on Cleveland Rd. north of Wooster, the daughter of Henry and Mable Tinsler Shelly. On March 14, 1954 she married her husband of 57 years Pete Raymond at Trinity United Church of Christ in Wooster. Pete preceded her in death on April 23, 2011. Shirley and Pete met at Wooster High School as freshmen and both graduated in 1953.
She retired from the OARDC as a Data Processing Supervisor. She enjoyed playing cards and was a member of the Central Christian Church in Wooster.
Surviving are her children: Michael E. Pineapple (Jennie) Raymond, of Apple Creek, and Judy L. (David) Wiles of Brewster. Grandchildren: Joshua Michael Raymond, Amanda Kathleen (Drew) Gorfi, Richard Allen (Ashley) Talbott, and Ryan Joseph (Ashley) Talbott. Great Grandchildren: Amelia Kathleen Gorfi, Andrew Raymond Andy Gorfi, Sebastian Allen Talbott, Thorim Michael Talbott, Lillie Anne Talbott, Tristan Nathan Talbott, Bremen Logan Talbott, Arianna May Talbott, Audrey Rose Talbott and Raven Jade Talbott. Former Daughter in law; Melanie Diane Raymond, a sister; Maxine Shelley and extended family member; Jennifer Blevens
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Oliver John Shelly, Harold Lewis Shelly, and Emmett Leroy Shelly.
Private family services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St. Wooster, Ohio 44691.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Shirley was a wonderful Godly woman. I truly appreciated her as youth advisor. Remember going to their home for youth. Hugs and Prayers! She loved her family very much.

When Pete passed, the three continued to eat together every Monday until mom became ill. We loved her & she will be greatly missed by all
