WOOSTER “ Roy Edwin Viall, 82 of Wooster passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Ohio ™s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster.
Roy was born November 1, 1937 in Sterling, the son of John and Edna Perrin Viall.   He married Janet Johnson on December 20, 2004.   She survives.
He retired in 1995 as Sgt. of Security at The Timken Company after 30 years of service.   Roy was also a self-employed Auctioneer and Realtor for over 40 years.   He was a member of the Shreve United Methodist Church.
Roy was a past Master of Ebenezer Lodge #33 F & AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Canton, Eastern Star of Shreve and a volunteer firefighter with the Wooster Twp. Fire Dept. for 20 years, he enjoyed motorcycles and enjoyed collecting antiques.   He was also a member of the National, Ohio and Local Board of Realtors, Rotary Club of Wooster, the Gold Wing Road Riders Association.
He proudly served his country as a Cpl. with the US Marines from 1956-1958.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children Diana œDee  (Rich) Wohlford of Wooster, Christine Puster-Varnes of Orrville, Brian Puster of Elyria and Catherine œCassie  Puster of Polk; step-sons Tom Ewing of Wooster and Todd Ewing of Mansfield; grandchildren Matt, Mark, Lyndsey, Lesley, Kaylee, Jillian and Jacob; 5 step-grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; his siblings Loretta Scott and Patricia McCourt both of Creston, Carolyn Houghton of Wooster and James Viall of Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Private family services will be held at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.   Burial will be in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.
