  10. My heart felt condolences go out to the family of Jim Figley. Jim was a friendly and easy going guy who I got to know from his career at Ohio State OARDC. Always a smile on his face and a willingness to help. Surely taken from this world too early, he will be missed and will always be remembered. Jim, you were one of the good guys.

  16. I had the priviledge of being the supervisor on second shift when Jim worked for Lehmans during a few Christmas holidays. We always had a great time working together, he was so pleasant and easy going. He loved sharing stories of his cookie jar shipments, repairing hot tubs and his family. I remember him always being so hot and sweating so much. I would always ask “Jim are you sure you are ok, would you like a fan”….He would always reply…..”I’m just fine, I’m used to being drippy”
He was one of my favorites. I am so sorry for your loss. I pray for peace and strength during this hard time. Rest easy Jim.

  17. Heartfelt condolences to Jim’s family … In 23 years of working with Jim at the OARDC I have never, as was stated many times in the messages above, encountered a more easy going person who regardless of the task at hand was more intent on getting it right. Stunning in many ways. Rest In Peace my friend.

  23. Shirley and Kyle – So sorry to hear of the loss of Jim. He was one of my earliest friends and I have so many wonderful memories of the fun times all of us had at Franklin. Dave and I had driven past your place recently and saw you and Jim out working in the yard. I can only imagine what a great husband and father he was in your lives. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire family.
