Wooster “ John A. Hamilton, 55, of Wooster passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at his home.
He was born June 29, 1965 in Columbus.
John was a 1985 graduate of Wooster High School and the Wayne Co. Career Center.   He enjoyed fishing, Cleveland sports especially the Cavs and Browns.   He was loved by all his family and neighbors and was always available with a helping hand and was a kind hearted soul.
Surviving are his parents Rick and Mary Maurer of Wooster; a sister Stacy Urbancic of Galloway and a niece and nephews Abby, Christopher and Nick.
John was preceded in death by a brother Chris Hamilton and his grandparents.
Private family services will be held.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

  1. Many Sundays watching the Browns games together, many laughs we shared. You were a good man with a humble soul. You will definitely be missed. Until we meet again. I’ll see you there Mack!!! Prayers and Condolences to the family of my good friend John.

  2. My condolences go out to the entire family. BJ and I had many good times. But the most memorable one was our drive to California and back to see our friend. We lost touch for many years after that, but reconnected last summer. I’m really glad we did. He will definitely be missed. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

  4. I’m sorry for your loss, I was just thinking about BJ the other day remembering all of the good times we had with our friends that we were associated with. BJ will be missed..My prayers and condolences to his family and friends from me and my family.
