FAIRPORT, NY “ Susan Maksymicz, 97, of Fairport, New York passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2020 at Ohio ™s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster.
She was born May 12, 1923 in Little Falls, New York the daughter of Paul and Katrina Yulrich Adamek.
She had worked for the Daniel Green Slipper Co. in the Box Factory in Dolgeville, New York.   Susan loved collecting shells at the beach and enjoyed caring for the flowers in her flower garden.   She also enjoyed music, her favorites were Lawrence Welk and Elvis Presley.
Surviving are her daughters Arlene Maksymicz and Kathy Maksymicz both of Wooster and Betty (Lee) Gering of East Rochester, New York; grandchildren Scott Gering and Jonathan Gering and great-grandchildren Piper Gering and Amelia Gering and a sister Katherine Herringshaw of Herkimer, New York.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Paul and John Adamek and Mildred O ™Neil.
There will be no calling hours or services.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
