Gail I’m so sorry for your loss. He was a great guy. I’ve known him for over 20 years. He taught me things I didn’t even know I needed to learn. His first priority was the residents. We didn’t always agree, again a learning curve.
Steve was very private. One thing I knew for sure, he loved you beyond words. You, Abbey, and Drew were his world. He embraced being a “grandpa” like a champ.
I’m sorry I didn’t get the chance to tell him what a positive influence he had on my career as a nurse. RIP Steve. I will miss your wisdom and concern for others.
Gail, I am so very sorry. Steve was an incredible person and an exceptional leader. I enjoyed working with him during my time at WCCC. He taught me a lot working with him that I will use the rest of my career. I admired his compassion for people and animals. We shared many stories of our animals and the residents. Many laughs had by all. Sending prayers and comfort your way. – Brittainy and Josh Wenrich
Gail, I’m so sorry to see this. He was a caring guy. Sending prayers to you and your family. Hugs.
Sending prayers your way Gail for peace and comfort. Steve was a very kind man with a big heart for the residents. He told me it was always a dream of his to work at a facility that had an STNA program. With Steve’s blessing and support, we have been able to build a STNA program here at the Care Center. Steve’s dream was realized this past Monday, October 19th, when our first class started. My deepest sympathies, Lisa Kurtz
Gail & family, we are very sorry to hear this. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.

Now at peace and free of pain. RIP Steve

Steven was an amazing brother…there are so many happy memories of our childhood and our time together that I will forever cherish. I always knew he had my back! Even though we had lost touch, he was and always will be in my heart and I will always be sorry that I didn’t make the opportunity to tell him again how much he means to me, how much I missed him, and how much I love him. Rest in Eternal Peace, brother. You deserve it.

Gail, I am so sorry about Steve. Steve was an amazing individual and it was an honor and privilege to work with him. I will cherish the talks we had about movies, literature and just life in general. I will always remember how he was there for me when I received bad news twice and how compassionate he was. I will keep you in my prayers. May God’s grace and peace be with you.
