Karen Doty, 65, of Mansfield and formerly of Wooster died on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 Mansfield Ohio Health Hospital.
She was born April 4, 1955 in Wooster to Thomas and Edith C. Foster Doty and grew up on the family farm with her parents and siblings.
She was a member of Mansfield Baptist Church and when she moved to Diamond View Residential Care Facility in January 2004, she quickly made friends with the residents and staff.   Karen loved animals and sitting outside and enjoying the sun.   She often read her Bible and loved to express herself by coloring.   Karen also enjoyed social gatherings at church and the facility.
Karen is survived by a cousin Susan (Arthur) Biddulph of Concord and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Thomas Doty and Glenn Doty and a sister Mary Foor.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 1:30 PM at the Prairie Twp. Cemetery.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

  1. Condolences to Karen’s Family. She will be sadly missed at Diamond View by the Staff and many friends there. She is with the Lord now, and with her family that she missed terribly. She believed this with all her heart. Gone but not forgotten. Rest now Karen, we will forever miss you.

    Mansfield Baptist Temple will greatly miss Karen.
    We love her dearly. Haven’t had class since
    Covid started. Karen received Jesus three years ago.
    So knowing this we are Celebrating her home going.

  3. Karen will be deaply missed by all of us at Mansfield Baptist Temple. We enjoyed getting to know her and picking her up on the bus for church. Rejoice in knowing that she accepted the Lord as her Savior and is now with her Lord.
