WOOSTER “ C. Jane Evans, 79, of Wooster passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at West View Healthy Living.
She was born June 21, 1941 in Wooster the daughter of Leonard and Clara Pigman Everhart.   She married Paul J. Evans, Jr on December 24, 1985.   He preceded her in death on March 29, 2000.
She had worked at Wooster Community Hospital in Housekeeping for 12 years retiring in 2003.   Jane enjoyed painting, bird watching, gardening and the Cleveland Indians.
Her sense of humor will be missed by all who knew her and she will be very missed by the residents and staff at West View Healthy Living.
Surviving are her children Beth (Brad) Starlin and Mathew P. (Becky) Evans both of Wooster; grandchildren Shawn (Natalie) Starlin, Justin (Danielle) Starlin and Jordan Starlin all of Wooster, Dustin Evans of Virginia, Cody Evans of Fremont and Brady Evans of Helena; great-grandchildren Crosby, Nevan and Shaydan Starlin; siblings Marguerite Miller of Wooster and Ruth Myers of Florida.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
There will be no calling hours.   Private family graveside services will be held at the Reedsburg Cemetery.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, Jane ™s wishes were for everyone to do a random act of kindness in her honor.
