Steven œSteve  Emerson Evans, 63, of Orrville died on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Ohio ™s Hospice LifeCare.
He was born October 30 1957 in Wooster to John and Lorraine Horst Evans.   On May 2, 1981, he married Jena Ullom.   She survives.
Steve had been an automotive mechanic and enjoyed going to auctions, flea markets, woodworking, hunting, fishing and cats, especially his feline companion Oreo. Steve was a graduate of Triway High School. He was a great dad and loved his granddaughter.
Along with his wife, Steve is survived by his daughters Sara (Kenny) Fuqua of Wooster, Hannah (Korey) Gift of Orrville; granddaughter Mila Fuqua; sister Beth (Cecil) Leslie of Wooster and a son-in-law James Nash.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Amy Nash and an infant brother John.
Private family graveside services will be held at a later date in Oak Grove Cemetery, Shreve.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
Contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.

  1. So very sorry to hear about the loss of Steve. Sending my deepest condolences to the family. Steve was a life-long friend of my late brother, Rick Airhart, and was the god-father to Rick’s two children, Brian and Phillip. Keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers.

  2. Sorry for your loss, Steve was a great man and funny he would make me laugh. We sit talk about anything. He made trailers and we would talk about that for hours. He will be missed by many. Prayers for the family.
