WOOSTER – Rickie Lee Ferguson, 62, of Wooster passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at his residence.
He was born August 15, 1958 the son of Donald and Mary Redmond Ferguson in Caney, Kansas.
Rickie proudly served his country with the United States Army. He enjoyed listening to music, playing guitar, and he loved art. Rickie was a writer of poetry. His daughter, Karen, was the love of his life.
He is survived by his daughter Karen (Michael Jones) Ferguson of Louisville, Kentucky; siblings Kathy (Lance) Proper of Killbuck, James (Dawn) Ferguson and Dreama Brown, both of Jeffersonville, IN, and Wynoka Dillon of Indiana.
In addition to his parents, Rickie was preceded in death by siblings Teresa Mottle, Trina Miller and Barb Bebe; and his step-father Ted Dillon.
A private family service will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster, is assisting the family.

  1. I was very sad to learn of Rickie’s passing. He was a good friend of mine when we were young,running around the streets of Sterling. I have fond memories of hanging out with him and his parents and sisters when they lived next to the church in Sterling. I would see him every so often around town and enjoyed catching up with him. I am sorry for your loss and am sure he will be missed.

I have very fond memories of my friendship with Rick we have been friends for 14 years plus and he was always a good friend someone you could always count on to talk to be there for you always help you out in time and need he was a very selfless loving kind caring person I will misin tremendously he always knew how to make me laugh when I was sad he just had his way of doing things like that I sure will miss him rest in peace for a guy know where you’re at now and a far better place than will ever be right now but we’re at
