John Martin Andrews, 46, of Wooster died on Thursday, January 21, 2021.
He was born May 15, 1974 in Syracuse, NY to Martin and Patricia Snook Andrews.   On April 24, 2010, he married Virginia Newman.
John served his country in the U.S. Army.
John had been a cook at Longhorn ™s and also did deliveries for Uber, Lyft and Grubhub among others.   He had his own videography business and loved to take drone footage.   John also enjoyed photography, hiking, being outdoors and camping.   He loved history and all animals, especially cats.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia; parents of Fayetteville, NY and sisters Kurstina Lindsay of Syracuse, NY, Jody (Glenn) Hilts of Punta Gorda, FL, Tracy (Dana) Doak of Youngsville, NC and Tricia (Thomas) White of Warminster, PA; along with many nieces, nephews and numerous other family and friends.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 10:00 AM “ 12:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
Masks are required and social distancing will be observed.
Private graveside services will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
Contributions may be directed to the Wayne County Historical Society, 546 E. Bowman St., Wooster, OH 44691.

  4. John was one of the most kind and compassionate human beings I have ever had the privilege of knowing. Never was he without a smile and a kind word for anyone whom he encountered. He exemplified goodness and decency and integrity and honour. The world was a better place for him having been here. May he rest in peace!

  5. I will truly miss John… the friends and family of him are in my constant thoughts. He was a very important part of my life to say the least and I will continue to live out his legacy. He taught me to always try your best to be a good person no matter what life throws at you.

  8. I was saddened to hear of Johns passing. I explored with John once and would talk on messenger about some of his finds. Always enjoyed seeing his pictures and drone videos. Will miss seeing his great work. He was truly a nice guy.

  13. Virginia, I’m very sorry for your loss. John played a very big role in my life for many years, he’s one of the best men I’ve ever known.

  16. John. We had not talked in years unfortunately then I found out you passed away in a car accident. The years we became close at coccia house were awesome,you were like a big brother and you always looked out for me,I appreciate that bro and I’ll never forget all the laughs miss you very much. Rest easy buddy
