WOOSTER “ Neil Thomas, 75, of Wooster passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Wooster Community Hospital.
He was born in Woodsfield on October 25, 1945 the son of Vernon O. and Vera Steed Thomas and was raised by his Aunt Bertha.   He married Sharon Garn on November 16, 1969.   She survives.
He was a supervisor for the Bauer Corporation retiring in December of 1998.   Neil loved classic cars, enjoyed going to car shows and enjoyed model trains.
Neil proudly served his country with the National Guard.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children Jennifer (Matt) Yockey of Orrville and Michelle (Barry Haigler) Foster of Springfield; grandchildren Jarrod (Sabrina) Derflinger of Wooster, Kendallyn Foster of Grove City and Aspyn Haigler of Springfield; great-grandchildren Isabella and Carter Derflinger.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Patricia Geib in 2017.
There will be no calling hours and private family services will be held.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

  16. So very sorry to hear about the passing of Neil.To say that Neil was a customer of mine,and he was. But so much more,a friend,car lover,new and old, he always had a story, and lots to
    talk about. I appreciated his friendship so very much.The Thomas family along time customers at Village Motors. He was one of my favorite people of all time. I first met Neil and Sharon
    in 1971, I sold them a new Ford Torino. They were referred to me by another wonderful family, the Hendrix.Joan and I enjoyed talking to them at car shows and restaurants. Please know myself and the staff at Village Motors are so sad to hear of your loss.Sharon,Jen and Michelle, you are in our prayers. I will remember Neil and think of him often.
