WOOSTER Cyril Nelson Strait, 72 of Wooster passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021 at his home.
He was born June 11, 1948 in Sullivan, Ohio, the son of Gerald and Marjorie Adams Strait. He married Sharon Moor Strait on September 4, 1969. She survives.
Nelson had worked for Polson Rubber, in Lodi, for 30 years. He enjoyed tinkering on cars, and also taking things apart to see how they were made, and then putting them back together. Nelson also loved taking long walks in the woods with his wife.
In addition to his wife, Sharon, he is survived by his children Danny (Kathy Landlaw) Strait of Wooster, John (Michelle Mullins) Strait of Rittman, Mike (Carrie Pipher) Strait of Wooster, and Lisa (Andrew Britton) Strait of Wooster; 15 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren with 1 on the way; and 9 siblings.
Nelson was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sibling.
There will be no calling hours or services.

I’m so sorry to hear that Nelson had passed away. I worked with Nelson at Wooster Walmart. He was a hard worker and a kind soul. He will be missed! Lifting his family up in prayer for peace and comfort during this difficult time.

Sorry to hear that a great man passed away he was a great husband and father brother. He loved being out doors and working on cars and his tractors.
