CANTON “ Wilma J. Williams-DeGasperis, 72, of Canton passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Canton.
She was born November 11, 1948 in Ashland, the daughter of the Rev. Hillis I. and Emma Jean Taylor Fath.   She married Eugene DeGasperis on February 14, 1992.   He survives.
She had been a Therapeutic Program Worker at ACDC retiring after 30 years of service.   Wilma was a member of the Canton Baptist Temple and was an avid quilter and reader.
Surviving in addition to her husband is a daughter Michelle Williams of Navarrre; grandchildren Cynthia A. (Cody) Patton, Jeffrey P. Wein, Amy R. (Jeffrey) Stanley and Richard J. Fishel; great-grandchildren Carter D. Stanley, Oliver G. Patton, Mila B. Patton, Adalynn R. Stanley and Theodore E. Patton.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, a son Richard A. Williams and siblings Linda M. Myers and Robert E. Fath Sr.
There will be no calling hours or services.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

  9. I feel so sorry for Wilma’s death. She use to baby sit my siblings and I. She took us to her church at times. Later I would cross paths again at ACDC. Praying for peace and comfort.
