WOOSTER “ Ethel L. Snyder, 81, of Wooster passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Ohio ™s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster after a short battle with cancer.
Ethel was born June 12, 1939 in Apple Creek, the daughter of Ralph and Lorna Beckler Roberts. She married John G. Snyder on April 28, 1960. He preceded her in death in 2019.
Ethel was a homemaker who loved her family dearly, and was devoted to her husband. Together they shared the joys of raising four children, and forever cherishing the memories are Gary, Jeff, Susan and Tina.
Surviving are her children Gary (Jennifer) Snyder of Lodi, Jeffery (Helen) Snyder of Wooster, Susan (Kevin) Carpenter of Weston, WV, and Tina (Michael) Dowd of Wooster; grandchildren Melissa Leavitt, Haley Snyder, Abby Snyder, Justin Snyder, Hannah Dowd, Madison Snyder, and Morgan Snyder; great-grandchildren Samuel Albrecht and Jocelynn Lamp; sister Ruth Braun; and sister-in-law Kathy Roberts.
In addition to her parents and husband, Ethel was preceded in death by her infant daughter Pamela Sue; siblings Terry Roberts, Donnie Roberts, and Carol Morris; and brother-in-law Richard Braun.
Ethel never wanted to be the center of attention, so at her request no services will be held.
The family would like to thank the staff at Ohio ™s Hospice LifeCare for the wonderful care of their mother, and grandmother.

  5. So sorry to hear of Ethel’s passing. I never knew her very well. I went to grade school with her for the short time she was at Franklin. We did have some good times years ago at Weight Watchers. She was fun to be around. MY thoughts and prayers are with you.
