  1. I first met Bob when I rushed Kappa Sigma at Miami University. I was always impressed with Bob’s overall outlook on life. He was always very even-keeled, optimistic and centered. He was the kind of guy who always had time to listen and help you out, however he could. Even as his cancer returned, he remained optimistic and was truly an inspiration on how he handled the unfortunate situation. I am sorry to see him go so early in life and I wish his family condolences as they manage their loss. As is our Kappa Sigma motto… AEKDB, Bob. (Adelphoi En Kardia Dia Biou = “Brothers in the Heart Forever.”) Rest in Peace.

  12. My heart and love goes out to the Family. So many great memories of encouragement in our small group. He was a great Man of God with a heart of gold. He strived to be the example God called him to be and it was a great example to so many, especially me personally. Bob was an example of humility and reminded me of not just how important our relationship with Our Lord and Savior is, but how important it is to keep family a priority. He will truly be missed. We can have comfort that he is out of pain and with our Heavenly Father. Thoughts and Prayers.

  16. Kevin Libert expressed it so well. Bob and I were in the same pledge class of Kappa Sigma fraternity at Miami University. He was such a good guy and I was glad to see he had just recently been inducted into our Hall of Fame. One year I was in charge of the meals for the fraternity house and Bob advised me on the cuts of meats (it was all the same to me!). He so looked forward to graduating and proudly running the family grocery store. My prayers and deepest condolences to his family. Too good to be to be gone so young. AEKD. Scott
