WOOSTER “ Doris E. Tressel, 87, of Wooster passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021, at Wooster Community Hospital.
She was born April 16, 1934, in Belville, Ohio the daughter of Henry and Clara Burkhart Shaw. On April 2, 1954, she married Herbert Tressel. He survives.
In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by siblings Esther L. Brenneman of Millersburg and Larry (Kay) Shaw of Rittman; sister-in-laws Elda May Shaw of Orrville, and Shirley Shaw of Bethesda, Ohio; special nephews Robert W. Brenneman and Kevin McDougle; special nieces Linda (Billy) Smith, and Heather McDougle; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, and great-great nephews.
In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her siblings Henry Shaw, Dallas Shaw, Herman Shaw, Roy Shaw, and Mary Margaret White; 5 nephews, 2 nieces, and a great nephew.
There will be no calling hours or service.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster, is assisting the family.

  2. Aunt Doris you will always be my special Aunt as well I will miss you .but remember all our good times ❤ together .Thank you for letting me be a special niece to you .Bubba ,Jimmy And Hannah sends their LOVE all the way to Heaven .God keep you SAFE in his kingdom .
