West Salem “ David B. Howard, 71, of West Salem passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at his home.
He was born January 10, 1950 in Akron the son of Carroll W. and Ada M. Kitzmiller Howard.   He married Barbara œBobbi  Schaedler on September 20, 2012.   She survives.
David owned and operated Al-Rite Automotive from 1982-2016 when he retired.   He loved fishing, hunting, cars, racing, reading and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children Monica Grande and Wesley (Ashley) Howard both of Wooster; step-children Jim (Laurie) Bycznski of Bedford and Brian (Yessi) Bycznski of Arizona; grandchildren Sydney Grande, Stella Howard, Amelia Howard, Trevor Bycznski, Jared Bycznski, Zachary Bycznski and Jenna Bycznski; a brother Rick (Linda) Howard of West Salem.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Joyce E. Howard and a brother & sister-in-law Paul (Kathy) Howard.
Friends will be received on Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 3-5:00 p.m. at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster followed immediately by a memorial service at 5:00 p.m. with Rev. Richard Wierwille officiating.   Masks are required when in the funeral home.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children ™s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
