Louis E. Finch, age 83 of Brooksville, Florida passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Northbrook Center for Rehabilitation and Healing.
He was born in Marion, Ohio and moved to Brooksville 10 years ago from Wooster, Ohio where he retired as a school bus driver with the Tri-Way Bus Garage. He was a member of St. Mary s Catholic Church, Wooster, Ohio, he was an Official, often officiating for Basketball, Volleyball, Girl s Fast Pitch Softball and Men s Softball. Louis discovered many activities to enjoy after moving to Florida. He was an avid golfer and loved to play poker.
Survivors include his wife: Phyllis; sons & daughters-in-law: Andrew & Kim Finch of Warsaw, Indiana and Lindsay & Joylyn Finch of Galion, Ohio; step-children: Eric Hostetler of Alexandria, Virginia, Joy Johnston of Aurora, Colorado and Theresa Walker of Wooster, Ohio; 5 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 1 step-great grandchild.
Visitation for friends will be 2 – 4pm, Monday, September 6, 2021 at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill Street, Wooster.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00am. Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at St. Mary s Catholic Church, 527 Beall Avenue, Wooster. Interment will follow at St. Mary s Cemetery.

Phyllis, I did not know about Lou passing. Cassie Anderson had called me and that’s how I learned about Lou.
