WOOSTER “ Robyn Kay Steele, 66, of Wooster passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Wooster Community Hospital.
She was born December 7, 1954 in Painesville the daughter of George L. and Anna M. Cain Beckwith.
She had done custodial work.   Robyn loved music, enjoyed live music shows, she loved to dance and enjoyed reading.   Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.   She was a former member of the Eagles Lodge in Wooster.
Surviving are her children Lynn (Flint) Layfield of Wooster, James Beckwith of Iowa, Christopher Clair of Wooster, Angela (Scott) Schuelke of Florida, Jason Saurborn of Iowa, David Saurborn of Knox Co., Ohio and Michael Clair of Brunswick; grandchildren Tyler Peck, Krystin Layfield, Tarin Saurborn, Liam Saurborn, Nolan Saurborn and Jeffrey Clair; siblings Richard Beckwith, Sandra Sanders, Danny Beckwith and April Beckwith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Robert Saurborn and siblings Donald Kunze, Jeffrey Beckwith and Scott Beckwith.
There will be no calling hours or services.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

  2. You are so missed, Mom. I will always hold dear the memories of you singing to us as small children and how it made me cry because you were so bad at it! You danced like a chicken, but did it with an enthusiastic, fun loving spirit! There is an empty space in my heart that will remain forever.
