WOOSTER “ John Lloyd Henderson, 49, of Wooster passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Wooster Community Hospital.
John was born April 24, 1972 in Ashland the son of Samuel and Mary Ann Williams Henderson, and grew up on the family farm in Jeromesville.
He had worked for various companies in their maintenance departments and was self-taught in the trades of electrician, carpentry, plumbing, and electronics.  John was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ and sang in the choir.   He enjoyed collecting antiques and vintage radios and memorabilia.    He was always willing to help out anyone in need. John enjoyed riding the Rails to Trails all over Ohio with Wyatt, and they both enjoyed the outdoors and each other’s company.
He is survived by his life partner of 15 years Wyatt Ridenbaugh; siblings Charles Waugaman, James Waugaman, Clinton Waugaman, and Kirk Waugaman; many nieces and nephews; special family Crystal (Kirk) Spurgeon, Shane (Kirk) Snyder, Carole Ridenbaugh, Mindy (Nick) Newsted, Alissa (Quinton) Gray, Lindsy Snyder, Laina Snyder, Trey Spurgeon, Easton and Everett Newsted, Millie Gray and Charlotte (Garland) Sellers.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the 3:00 p.m. service on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at the Trinity United Church of Christ, 150 E. North St., Wooster, OH 44691 with Rev. Dr. Kevan Franklin officiating.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
