Jeffrey L. Ison, Sr., 66, of Wooster went home to his heavenly father on Friday, October 22, 2021 after a long-term illness.
He enjoyed fishing and was an avid Steelers fan. Jeff enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Valerie M. Ison; his four children Gloria Morris, Shalyn Bell (Christofer), Julie Daugherty, and Jeffrey L. Ison, Jr. (Sarah); grandchildren Jacob, Kristina, and Luke Myers, Patience, Christofer, Cherish, Nylahs and Ares Bell, Lily Daugherty, Aubree, Gabriel, Briana, and Mira Ison; his brothers Mike (Vera) Ison of Kentucky and Mark (Mindy) Cavin.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father, William Ira Ison, and his mother Rose Mary Ison (Hall); his sisters Susan Adkins, Kathy Blevins, Vicki Kouns, Kristy Jo Ison, Patti Shawler, Roseann Ison, and Andrea Ison, and his brother Charles Ison.
Friends will be received on Monday, October 25, 2021 from 5:00pm “ 8:00pm at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 11:00am at the funeral home.
