WOOSTER “ Laura M. Rakich passed away from this life into the presence of Jesus Christ on November 15, 2021 at her home.  What a glorious presence it must be.   She lived a life with unwavering faith and loved the Lord Jesus Christ with her whole heart.   She was a prayer warrior, and loved to worship.   She was always there for those in need.   She was a member of the Emanuel Old Stone Church.
Laura had many brothers and sisters in Christ and enjoyed serving Jesus and her church.
She was born to Samuel Sr. and Joan Rakich on February 28, 1961.
Laura loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own; and like-wise; her great nieces and nephews.   She loved spending time with them and getting to know each one individually with much joy.   Laura enjoyed reading to them or writing stories with their names as main characters.   She attended their school events, church events and sporting events.   She always had a smile and opened arms for each one of them.   She had a special place in her heart for children, those also of her friend ™s children.
Laura will truly be missed by those who knew and loved her.   We mourn her loss, but celebrate the joy she must have being in the majestic presence of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
Laura is survived by her sisters Mary Edwards, Maria Carter and Christine Young of Wooster, her brother Sam (Sharon) Rakich of Wooster; 7 nieces and nephews and 10 great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her parents in 1995 and a sister Charmaine Culverhouse.
Friends will be received 2 hours prior to the 4:00 p.m. service on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Pastor Derek Geitgey officiating.
