Roma Lucille Nicholas, 76, of Orrville died on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Wooster Community Hospital.
She was born November 7, 1945 in Rutherford, WV to Grace Morton Adams.   On June 7, 1986, she married Simon Vance Nicholas.   He survives.
Roma had worked at B.F. Goodrich making emergency slides for airplanes and had previously worked for Farm and Fleet.   She loved to quilt, work crossword puzzles, gardening, bird watching and being with her family, especially her grandkids.   She had been a member of the Red Hat Society.
Along with her husband, Roma is survived by her daughter Roma Jo Smith of Wooster; step-children Barbara Nicholas of Wadsworth and Charlotte (Ed) Wallace of Akron; grandsons Zachariah (Ashley) Smith of Orrville, Trevor (Katlynd) Smith of KY and Seth Smith of Wooster; step-grandchildren Anthony Kisner of Orrville, Darrell Kisner of Dalton, Kenny Baggett, Samantha Baggett and Rickey Baggett all of Canton, Jonathon Miller and Hope Miller both of Akron, Isiah Miller of Orrville and Jacob (Tori) Seamon of Wooster; great-grandchildren Max Smith, Roma Jean Smith, Trevor James œT.J.  Smith, Jr.; many step-great-grandchildren; sister Lutricia Valentine of Parkersburg, WV and a sister-in-law Esther Wilson of Big Ben, WV.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
There will be no services at this time.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
