WOOSTER “ Kenny R. Easterday, 79, of Wooster passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021 at Wooster Community Hospital.
He was born October 25, 1942 in Lodi, the son of Clyde and Evelyn Brown Easterday.   He married Rebecca Marcovechio on July 3, 1965.   She survives.
He was a Security Officer Manager and for most of his life he was in police work which he thoroughly enjoyed.   Ken was also a volunteer with the Rittman Fire Department.   He loved detailing his car and he enjoyed watching NASCAR. His favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt.   He could carry on a conversation with anyone.
He proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his twin daughters Kerri (Chris) Slayton of Orrville and Kristen Easterday of Wooster; grandchildren Katy Slayton, Nick Slayton, Kylee Shook and Makayla Shook; and brothers Darrell and Ryan Easterday.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Gary Easterday.
There will be no calling hours and private family services will be held with Pastor Ross Riggs officiating. Burial will take place at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
