Nellie J. McCann went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 4th, 2022 after an acute illness.
She was born November 19, 1944 in Filbert, PA. She married Jess R. McCann on December 31, 1966. They briefly lived in Pensacola, Florida and then moved to Wooster Ohio in 1968 where they established their home and family.
Nellie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and friend to many. She was one of the most caring individuals – always ready to lend a hand in whatever way she could. She was an accomplished seamstress and loved to craft and cook for her family. Nellie put her heart into everything she did and she was integral part of the business that she and Jess created. Her family was at her side when she passed and she will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Stella Kotlarsic; sister Dorothy (Jim) Potocar; brother John (Sonny) Kotlarsic; sister-in-law Charlotte Kotlarsic; and brother-in-law Bill Stefanko.
Surviving are her husband Jess R. McCann; children Janice (Dan) Hageman, J.R. (Bonnie) McCann; sister-in-law Barabara Kotlarsic; brother Julius (Patricia) Kotlarsic; brother Jerome Kotlarsic; sister Rose Stefanko; and sister Betty (Jack) McCann; grandchildren Keri (Nate) Tipton, Shannon (Daniel) Cappelucci, Jake McCann and Adrienne McCann; great-grandchildren Henry Tipton and Hailey Tiption; and many loving nieces and nephews.

I am sorry to hear of Nellie’s passing. The McCann’s lived up the street from us on Palmer St. when I was growing up. I remember her as being such a sweet lady and very kind.
