Velma Maxine Tomassetti, 84, of Wooster died on Monday, January 10, 2022 at The Avenue of Wooster.
She was born March 1, 1937 in Wooster to Lorenzo Washington and Edith Mable Trunk Jones.   On February 16, 1957, she married Louis Raymond Tomassetti.   He preceded her in death.
Maxine had worked at the One Hour Martinizing for over 20 years.   She was loving, selfless and generous and very devoted to her family.   She was artistic and enjoyed crocheting, baking and gardening.   Maxine was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
She is survived by her daughter Linda A. Senechal of Dorchester, MA; son Joseph R. Tomassetti of Wooster; grandchildren Anthony, Joseph and James Tomassetti and great grandchildren Kylee, Kenzie, Matteo, Salena, Vincent and Mila Tomassetti.
Along with her husband, Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; children Joseph V., Jeffrey L., and Lou Ann Tomassetti; brother Ralph Jones and sister Kathleen White.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Cemetery with Rev. Stephen Moran officiating.   The service will be live streamed on the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home Facebook page.
There will be no calling hours.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St. Wooster is assisting the family.
