Apple Creek- David N. Hudson, 72, went home to be with the lord in the presence of his family on January 19, 2022.
He was born June 18, 1949 in Worksop, England, the son of Joseph and Brenda (Hooton) Hudson.
David proudly served in the US Army as a MP stationed in Korea.   After his military service he married his sweetheart, Margaret Messner, and they settled in Wooster, Ohio.   They celebrated 45 years of marriage together this last October.   David provided for his family as a tractor trailer driver for UPS for 25 years as well as owning Southeast Computers with his son.   He was a man that enjoyed coffee and Troyer ™s donuts, working with his hands as a true craftsman, his wife’s apple pie, watching James Bond with is daughter, vacationing in Hilton Head Island, and making his friends and family laugh with his cunning wit and unmistakable British humor that he has passed on to his son.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Brad Kelley; uncle and aunt, Ern and Madge Benton father and mother-in-law, Wade and Peggy Messner.
Surviving in addition to his wife Margaret, are his son Michael Hudson and his wife Audra; daughter Lori, mother Brenda Hudson and sister Susan Kelley; four grandchildren Jonathan, Aiden, Audriana, Emma.
A celebration of his life will be held for family at Apple Creek Methodist Church. Graveside services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements entrusted to McIntire, Branham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.

  1. Thoughts and prayers for Nigel’s family. Many good memories of pizza at the Ranch with him and Margie. Many other good memories of watching action movies with him in his basement. I’ll miss his jokes and his laugh. Hoping the Good Lord helps ease your pain Margie
