˜If you aren ™t having fun, you ™re not doing it right ™. No one embodied it more than my husband. One might say it was his mantra, although he sublimely lacked dogma -one of his best traits. It ™s simply how he lived.
Joshua John Collier was raised in Wooster by Joan and John Collier and beside his brother Jeremy. He found his way to Oregon on the whim of adventure where we found an improbable love. We married in Oregon with my son, who soon became his, standing at our side. We later had a daughter whose quick wit is nothing if not her father ™s.
Josh loved hard, laughed easily, and forgave quickly -nearly all the time. He was generous, always had time for others, and never met a stranger. He ended each call with œI love you whether talking to his mother, his kids, or a friend.
If I consider my husband ™s legacy it is this: The sun will continue to rise and the moon set, but our time here is short. Dance in the rain and play in the puddles. Never hold back. Bring joy, laugh heartily and always have fun. Live your best life because we aren ™t taking it with us.
Joshua leaves behind an army of love and we will celebrate him on February 26 with a 3:00 pm service at Wooster United Methodist Church followed by a celebration of life at JAFB brewery, 4-8 pm. Friends are invited to attend.

  9. My heart is broken. Your love encompassed anyone that met you. You had extra special love for your mom, great brotherly love for Jeremy, your hearted melted for Abe and Charlie, you simply adored Jamie, best uncle ever to Caitlin and Jacob, awesome little brother to Sarah, amazing work partner and son to your dad. You have so many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that so adored you! It will take a lifetime to mend our broken hearts. We will each look around and try to find the fun you found every day. Love you so much.

  14. I had the honor of meeting Josh, Jamie, Abe and Charlie, while I worked at the Montessori School in Wooster. What an amazing family. I am so saddened by the loss of Josh, he always had a smile on his face, and was always fun to talk with and had such a positive outlook on life. I am keeping everyone in my prayers, Josh’s smile, humor and love for his family friends will continue to live on through Jamie and his beloved children. May God continue to watch over all of you during this time. Josh was a great man! Love and Prayers, Jerrilynn McDaniel

  22. I am so sorry! I will never forget who was there for my family and I during one of the hardest times of our lives. Josh was there and supportive to myself and my family. I was cleaning out my moms house and needed a dumpster. Well he had a dumpster delivered in less than 30mins and continued to bring more over the weeks that were ahead. He was truly a really good guy. Again I am so sorry !! May the lord flood each and everyone of u with his peace and comfort!!
