So sorry to hear of Aunt Aileen’s passing. She was always kind and thoughtful, and was a great aunt.
Our loss is Heaven’s gain. I am so grateful to have known Aileen…she was one of the sweetest women I have known. To the entire Ickes and Parrot families, please accept my heartfelt sympathy. I pray that Father God’s love will comfort you and give you peace. Love, April.
I knew Aileen from the Emanuel United Church of Christ (now Old Stone Church) . She & JIm went there and their children too. That was back in the 1960’s . The family has my condolences. Richard was my husband & Opal was my mother-in-law.
I am so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed meeting her at the graduation party. May her memory be eternal. Love to everyone.
I am sorry to hear of Aunt Aileen’s passing. She always made an effort to get her family together and spend time with us when we were kids.
I’m so sorry to hear of Aileen passing. My prayers are for family.
Aileen was a sweet lady. Holmesville Church of Christ, mother of Susie Parrot who is my friend.Aileen always had a great smile and loved her family. And she kept them in line too. I always liked talking and laughing with her. She always was pleasant to listen to her.
We have lived across the road from Mrs. Ickes over 36 years. When our children little we would go over to visit with Jim & Aileen and while the kids played on the floor with toys Aileen brought out from a back room, we watched the Indians play ball. We have sweet memories of them. Our family has your family in our thoughts & prayers.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you as we remember Aunt Aileen and her wonderful smile. May you feel the peace of Christ as you share sweet memories of your mom/grandma. Sorry we couldn’t attend the service as we were out-of-state. Hugs to all of you.
