  4. My, My, My!!! What a loss Ed’s passing is for our family. The Suttle’s were especially gracious to Rene & me when we moved to Wooster in 1969. They treated us like family. For which we will always be grateful.

Ed was a special person. I don’t think he ever met a stranger. He will be missed. We offer our prayers of sorry and comfort to Joyce, Lisa, Mike, and David as they face the tough days ahead. And, to our dearest friends, Butch and Sandi, we offer our heartfelt sorry. Just know that God is there to comfort and Bless you.

May God Bless and keep you safe in the days ahead.

    Love You all!!!

  9. Ed was a mentor (and my personal idol) to me as a mechanic at Lowe & Young and taught me to time the knotter, knives, and forks of a baler to avoid broken bales. My father, Roy Lowe held Ed in high esteem and challenged us to be like Ed in school, work, and life. He was an intelligent and caring person who could do anything well and teach others to improve their skills at farming, carpentry, mechanics…anything that required a skilled craftsman. I am sure he did the same for Habitat and the Southeast Schools. He and my Uncle, Harold Eggeman partnered as builders, remodelers, and Ed & Joyce were lifelong friends to Harold & Eunice even after Harold was Ill and passed away: they visited weekly when Harold needed care and thereafter the same for Eunice. I admired Ed for his special gifts and caring spirit. He never compromised his principles and ethics in business or in farming. The world is a better place because Ed was a better person than most of us. He passed on those gifts to all he met or knew. His family should be celebrating the full life of a truly great man, husband ,father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
