WOOSTER “ Helga Rich, 82, of Wooster passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022 at her home.
She was born June 25, 1939 in Bayreuth, Germany the daughter of Erich and Hedwig Haberl Sollner. She married Paul William Rich on February 14, 1957.   He survives.
Helga and her husband, Bill, were former co-owners of the St. Paul Hotel and Bill ™s Lawn Service and she had also owned The Country Candy Store.   She enjoyed going to Casinos, Playing Bingo, Doll Collecting and Hummel Figurine Collecting.   Helga also enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians and The Ohio State Buckeyes.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Bill, are her children Michael (Paula) Rich, Ricky Rich and Steve Rich all of Wooster; grandchildren Melissa Rich, Aaron Rich, Jarrod Rich and Brandon Rich; great-grandchildren Kaiden Miller and Zain Phipps and a brother-in-law Tom (Vicki) Rich.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Gitta.
Friends will be received on Friday, April 1, 2022 from 5-7:00 p.m. followed immediately at 7:00 p.m. with a memorial service at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
