Iris June Stark, 85, of Wooster died on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at her home.
She was born November 16, 1936 in Moundsville, WV to Charles and Geraldine Wright Edgell.
June had driven school bus for Triway for over 19 years and had opened her home to foster developmentally delayed individuals. She enjoyed feeding and watching the birds, especially Humming birds and riding on the motorcycle with Reuben. June was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister who loved her family and the Lord.
She is survived by her husband Reuben, whom she married in October of 1968; children Terry (Delores) Goad of Mayville, Brenda Custer of Apple Creek, Linda (Brian McFadden) Goad and Dan (Maricel) Goad both of Wooster and Donald (Tara) Rose of Shelby; step-children Jim Stark of Wooster, Daniel Stark of Orrville, Roger Stark of South Carolina and Loretta Stark of Orrville; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; siblings Ernie (Nancy) Edgell of Moundsville, Phyllis (Larry) Bellman of Wooster, Aretta (Franklin) Akers of West Salem and Charlotte (Paul) Stetler of Smithville along with numerous nieces and nephews.
June was preceded in death by her parents; son Richard Rick Goad and siblings Lloy Bud Edgell, Virginia Braun, Dorothy Summers, Bill Edgell, Bob Edgell, Faye Seko, Kathy Shedron and Roger Edgell.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Mt. Zion Church of God, 837 S. Geyers Chapel Rd., Wooster with Rev. Ben Crouch officiating. Interment will follow in Wooster Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jerry Ott, Eddie Roeder, Dan Goad, Jr., Garret Goad, Christopher Hershberger and Terron Goad.
Friends will be received from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday at the church.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
