Duane E. Buss, 63, of Wooster died on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at his home.
He was born September 21, 1958 in Wadsworth to Walter and Lillie Berkey Buss, Jr.
Duane had worked for M.W. Robinson Heating and Cooling for many years before retiring in 2021.   He was a 1977 graduate of Norwayne High School and loved music, collecting records, playing his guitar and he loved cats.
He is survived by his sisters Fran (David) Gengo of Wooster and Charlene (John) Stanford of Creston; sister-in-law Lynda Buss; nieces and nephews David (Amy) Gengo, Michael Gengo, Matthew (Tessa) Stanford, Mark (Jennifer) Stanford, Kyle (Kim) Stanford, John (Lauren) Buss and Eric Buss.
Duane was preceded in death by his parents and brother Dennis Buss and David Buss.
Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the 1:00 p.m. service on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Pastor Dan Wingate officiating. Inurnment will be held at the Sterling Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wayne Co. Humane Society, 1161 Mechanicsburg Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.
