Marjorie œJune  Adams, 93, of Smithville, died on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at Jackson Ridge Care Center.
She was born March 12, 1929 in Wooster to George Paul and Pearl Austin Eby.   On April 18, 1996, she married John F. Adams.   He survives.
June graduated from Sharon Center High School in 1946 and had been a principle secretary at the OARDC in the Administration Department.   She was a former member of Zion Lutheran Church.   June enjoyed sewing, making dolls and quilts, crafting, gardening, reading antiquing and meeting the ladies from her high school class for monthly luncheons.   She had previously belonged to the PERS Secretary Club.
Along with her husband, June is survived by her daughter Kathleen Marie (Daniel L.) Buttermore of Canton; sister Georgia Goetz; nieces Rosemary Taylor, Cynthia Hoenig, Laurie Ward, Sherrie Moffat, Brenda Reppa and Karen Nicolino; nephews Rick and Bob Eberhart, Don Shank, Troy Taylor and Alan Krager; along with her husband John ™s family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, former husband Richard œDick  Eric Krager and sisters Norma Rogers and Carol Eberhart.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at 2:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.   Private interment will be in Smithville Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.

  2. We worked with June for many years at OARDC; she was a good friend and mentor. Although we had lost touch with her, we send our condolences to her family.
