Jennifer Louise Adams, 74, of Wooster died on Friday, May 6, 2022 at Akron City Hospital.
She was born December 6, 1947 in Pottstown, PA to Earl and Bernita Blake Bishop.   She was married to Daniel Adams for over 34 years before he preceded her in death in 2017.
Jenni taught 5th grade at Parkview Elementary School for many years before retiring in 2008.   She was a member of the Friends of the Library, a long-time volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and was a friend of Wooster Memorial Park.   She enjoyed bike riding, cross country skiing, hiking, traveling and gardening.
She is survived by her son Nic Adams of Huntington, WV; committed partner Ed Scott of Wooster; sister Judy (Chuck) Ford of Carmel, IN and brother Jim (Lynne) Bishop of Geneva, IL.
Along with her husband, Jenni was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Julie Bishop.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at a later date.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

  7. So sorry to hear about Jenni. She taught all three of my kids. They loved her. Especially my daughter Rose loved her. She was a awesome teacher and the kids at Parkview loved her dearly. So sad she has passed at such a young age. God bless her and her son.

  9. I have so many fond memories of Jenni, as our classrooms were beside each other at Parkview Elementary for many years. Her positivity, beautiful smile and giving nature will always be what I remember most about her. My sincerest condolences to all who love her! She will be dearly missed.

  12. I’m so sorry for your loss. I had Mrs. Adams as my 5th grade teacher. I loved her because no matter what she always made time to talk,help or listen to the problem. God most definitely gained a beautiful soul. RIP Mrs. Adams

  15. Mrs. Adams was one of my very favorite teachers. She was beautiful and athletic, kind and fun, and gave us experiences that we still talk about today, like introducing us to Voyage of the Mimi. Sending my heartfelt condolences to all who loved her and were touched by her sweet spirit.

  17. Nic, your mom and dad were two of my most favorite people on earth. I am so grateful for all of our fun Wooster Girls soccer team days – 88/89 was a loonnng time ago. I will always remember them as kind, fun, and full of life. Sending you all the love in this world.

Loved eating at the Pine Tree Barn, enjoyed playing pickleball, and we will miss your laughter, friendship and your enthusiasm.
