George William Pardo, 90, of Wooster died on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 in Wooster Community Hospital.
He was born August 20, 1931 in Guanica, Puerto Rico to Geronimo and Maria Gutierrez Pardo.
George had worked as a cook for several restaurants and had owned his how record shop and grocery store.   He was a member of Sacred Heart Chapel in Lorain.   George loved horse track racing, dancing, the New York Mets, Italian culture and being around family as much as possible.   He was full of life and humor all the way until the end.
He is survived by his children Heriberto (Angela) Pardo of Long Island, NY, Maria Pardo, George Pardo Jr., Valentin Reyes, Priscilla (Quartez) Brazzel, Chanel Pardo, Amanda Pardo and Steven Junius all of Wooster; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and a brother Berto Pardo of Puerto Rico.
George was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Iris Pardo, his parents and 12 siblings.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at 6:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Rev. Mark Barreto officiating.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 PM until the time of the service.
