Pauline R. Franco (Graser), age 99, passed away Friday, June 24, 2022 at Altercare of Navarre.
She was born in Wooster to the late Frederick and Marie (Schauff) Graser.   She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, James S. Franco, two sons Jimmy and Edward and two brothers Pete A. and Harold E. Graser.
She is survived by daughters Bonnie (Bud) Workman of Canton, JoAnn M. Benchot of Akron; son Fred Franco of New Philadelphia; grandchildren Bonnie (Tom) DeMarsh of Canton, Chip (Sue) Workman of Canal Fulton, April (Keith) Lewis of Louisville, Danyell (Brad) Fields of New Philadelphia; nine great-grandchildren Craig (Danielle) Workman of Oberlin, Cody Workman of Denver, Dr. Cameron (Lexie) DeMarsh of Canton, Chloe DeMarsh of Denver, Sgt. David Jones, USMC of NC; Nicholas Jones, Olivia and Colton Lewis all of Louisville and Anthony Fields of New Philadelphia and two great-great grandchildren; nephew Rodney (LuAnn) Graser and niece Rhonda Graser both of Wooster along with many other nieces and nephews in Niles, Girard, McDonald, Warren and Youngstown.
Pauline retired after 27 years with Rubbermaid, Inc.   She loved cooking, gardening, bowling, bingo and playing cards.   She was an avid fan of the Wooster High School band and the Cleveland Indians.
She was a life member of St. Mary ™s Immaculate Conception Church in Wooster.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary ™s, 527 Beall Ave., Wooster with Rev. Stephen Moran as celebrant.   Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the church.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to St. Mary ™s Church, PO Box 109, Wooster, OH 44691.
The family would like to thank the caregivers and staff at Altercare of Navarre and Hospice for their kind and loving care and the late Rev. Robert Gibas for his spiritual guidance, compassion and friendship.
