Jackie Lynn Diehl was welcomed into her Heavenly home surrounded by family on Sunday, July 10, 2022, following a long period of declining health.

Jackie was born in Wooster on September 19, 1955.  She graduated with the class of 1974 from Waynedale High School in Apple Creek, Ohio.

Jackie loved her Heavenly Father and watched The Faith Family Church every Sunday on Channel 8.  Learning and absorbing as much as she possible could from text books, attending college was a highlight of her adult life.  She was eager to be an entrepreneur; owing businesses such as Panda Pet Care, a birthday party consulting business, and even a small produce stand with her health was declining.  Jackie loved people and was a hard worker, at times having multiple jobs as once, her final career being Home Health Aid.  She enjoyed conversing with the elderly and was captivated by their lives and the history they held.

She is well-loved and will be missed by her son Chad (Wanda) Diehl of Wooster; daughter Trisha (Kyle) Berg of Wooster; grandchildren Sebastian Gingrich, Zoe Gingrich, Jason Diehl, Garrett Diehl, Payton Berg and Bradyn Berg; sisters Paula (Matt) Smith and Tina )Ted) Fry and many other family and friends.

Jackie will be welcomed with open arms into Heaven by her mother, Patricia Woodruff Crabbe; father Robert Todd; and her son, Jason Robert Diehl whom she tragically lost and missed dearly.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Wooster Cemetery.

Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
