“Together Again”

Garnet Sargeant, 88, of Wooster went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at the Apostolic Christian Home.

She was born on January 13, 1934 in Wooster to Raymond S. and Viola Flory Stahl.  On March 31, 1952 she married John W. Sargeant.  He preceded her in death in 2015.

Garnet attended Wooster Church of the Nazarene. She worked at the Daily Record, as a beautician and for Big Wheel.  She loved her back yard, all of her trees, flowers and shrubs. She loved her two cats Tiny and Princess.

She is survived by her children Jackie Lepisto of Davidson, NC; Sherry Daugherty of Wooster; John W. (Karen) Sargeant Jr. of Wooster; Tim (Debbie) Sargeant of Goosecreek, SC.  Garnet was a grandmother to nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Along with her husband, Garnet was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Kathy Layland, several brothers and sisters; granddaughter April Rice and great grandson Paxton McComb.

Per her wishes there will be no calling hours or services.
